Join us on the first Saturday in May as we celebrate “The Run for the Roses” – the 2018 Kentucky Derby – at Woodbine’s 2nd annual Derby Day Party.

This year’s event will be held in the Trackside Tent, providing party-goers with a spectacular view of the track to take in live Woodbine race-day action. Dress to impress at the first must-attend social event of the Thoroughbred season and enjoy whiskey tasting, cigar rolling, beauty bars, “Best Dressed” contests, live music by Electric Blonde and more! Cap off the day with “The Most Exciting Two Minutes in Sports” – the 144th running of the $2 million Kentucky Derby.

GENERAL ADMISSION TICKET

Live Performance by Electric Blonde:

Electric Blonde is a dynamic group of young, Toronto based musicians with a wealth of experience when it comes to moving a crowd. With a huge variety of songs on deck from Top 40 to Classic Rock to Funk and Motown, our goal is to keep the audience dancing and singing along all night. We can perform in any configuration from an acoustic duo, all the way up to an 10 piece band, complete with horns and a DJ. We can even provide our own sound and lighting. We tailor the night to every event based on who’s dancing so that everyone leaves with sore feet and a smile on their face.
